I was a late learner (30 when I started with Tam) and was very nervous and had no confidence at all. Tam immediately put me at ease and I soon found myself driving and chatting, becoming more confident with every lesson. Tam is an extremely patient instructor, good fun, full of random facts and is an all round good guy, which makes him a pleasure to be in the car with. At no point during our lessons did I ever feel I was not getting the best tuition and my pass result showed that I had been taught well.

I will always remember the line from our first lesson: "Now David, do you smell that? That's the clutch burning. We don't want to smell that". Love it!

Comments: Like the person above I was also a late learner (29/30) as driving was something that originally did not interest me but grew into something that I ended up avoiding. From the beginning when I was very nervy and made a lot of mistakes (as any person normally does when starting to drive), Tam helped to put me at ease as he was always very patient and calm. When you are learning a new area for the first time he takes the time to explain each step clearly so that you feel less overwhelmed and more confident about the new skill.  He makes sure that you are not only ready for the practical/theory tests but that you are prepared for the driving afterwards when you are learning to do it again on your own.

I would definitely recommend Tam for driving lessons. Not only is he a good instructor but a very knowledgeable and likeable person who turned something that felt like a chore for me into something that I enjoyed doing every week.  He helped me become more confident in my skills as a driver.

Tam – thanks again for time and effort in helping me achieve a pass!
